International Relations Office mission is to empower its students with the necessary tools, innovations, skills, perspectives to able to become a global citizen. International programs at BIRUNI will allow students to enhance their strong sense of social responsibility to be fearless and embrace global and local challenges, with the experience they have acquired through the programs.
Students of today are already global, in the sense of technologies within their grasps, but it is always real-life experiences that would help them navigate their way in the world. By creating an understanding of different cultures, languages, histories, our students are given an edge in becoming successful individuals.
Within the framework of our university’s strategic plan, mission, and vision, the International Relations Office aims to provide support to BIRUNI’s international degree-seeking undergraduate and graduate students, by creating platforms that facilitate a prosperous education period, enabling satisfaction with the university in the duration of their stay, and assisting them with graduating as well-rounded cultural ambassadors. Furthermore, a goal the office thrives to achieve is the inclusion of international students in the BİRUNİ community by providing equal access to cultural and social activities and participation in university events.
